CDS Cornhole Tourney Benefit at grandview

This year’s CDS Cornhole Tourney Benefit held at Grandview is on August 13th. Doors open at 11:30AM and bags fly at 12:30PM. Prizes are awarded to the top 3 teams. This is an amateur tournament and not for professionals. It’s for fun, and to raise money for Chad’s family (see below for more of Chad’s story). The cost is $20 per person, $40 per team, or $10 for those not playing but attending. Your donation includes: entrance into the tourney, food, soda and water all day as well as participation in the silent auction. There will be a cash bar with beer and wine available. Registration opens July 17th! This event is Rain or Shine!
If you’ve been to one of our Cigar nights, you’ve met our friends from Cigars 4 Good. C4G is a group of amazing individuals who raise money for charities that support underprivileged children. Chad David Shifflett was a father, a brother, a son, a husband, an amazing friend, AND one of the core members of C4G. On January 8th, 2020 he was involved in an accident that took his life. As a result of Chad’s impact on our life, we have chosen to do what we KNOW Chad would do for any of us in the same situation: find ways to care for his family. With this in mind, we have created the CDS Memorial Cornhole Tournament. This is an annual event with proceeds going directly to his wife and 2 sons. During the afternoon festivities, there will also be a small silent auction.
Walk ups will be accepted but online registration is preferred.
